The black clouds around your eyes soften me

  So I've moved back to Southampton now, on the hunt for a part-time job to gather some funds to pay towards my survival of second year. Which basically consists of alcohol, cigarettes, clothes and minimal food. So I went out today to give out CV's and ended up in 'Prada'mark spending far too much money on nice things I don't need...by they are nice so it's okay :)
So these are my buys of the week: Each item was £13 I think, primark is getting pricey!

Sorry the pictures arn't great and please ignore my other attire and lack of picture of the jumper on its own but I'm completely un-organised right now and only planned on a quickie post! I also bought a pair of boys trackies, but you don't want to see those! They're just for me to bum around the house in! Note to all the girls out there though, always buy men's hoodies and trackies for yourself instead of ladies, they're way more baggy and comfy!

So I'm a sucker for anything second hand or something my nan would wear. My most recent purchases have all been from charity shops like 'help the aged' & 'the British heart foundation' and it's amazing at the treasures you can find. Here are a few of my recent charity shops buys...

Pink Curtains with white flowers, for my newly decorated bedroom.
they are a bit short but I quite like that :)

floral skirt, which was long and pleated which I have so far

The best thing about all these items is that none of them cost me more than a fiver!

And another great thing about second hand clothing, is that its rare you see someone wearing the same outfit as you!

So next time you get your paycheck through or fancy a shopping trip, don't walk straight past the charity shops on the highstreet in a rush to get to the topshop sale section, but have a gander! And you won't feel indimated but the attractive staff like you do in all the top highstreet stores, 'cause all the staff are lovely sweet elderly ladies who are just delightful!

NEW START

September is looming and before we know it, we'll all be back to university//college//school//new jobs ready to start a fresh new academic year. And what's better than starting a new academic year than starting it with a new autumn/winter wardrobe! As a student like many of us are, we cannot afford luxurious hand knitted Jack Wills Brendenton jumpers or £65 Argyle sock lined ankle boots from TopShop. But do not fear! Believe it or not but Tesco has come to our rescue with it's own clothing line F&F. I have never paid any attention to F&F until now, but they have some great aut/wint pieces that are at a great student price that I just have to share with you all.
